glass building steel

Stable steel structures

A glass building from Drivadan has special bearing properties thanks to the steel elements, which provide strength and stability. All our load-bearing structures are made of steel in our own workshop in Søndersø on Funen, Denmark.

The load-bearing capacity also allows for a greater span compared to ordinary structures made solely of aluminium. In this way, you can achieve a light and elegant architectural design with a slim construction.

Our special way of combining steel, aluminium and glass materials provides greater freedom and flexibility. We can create customised and individual solutions that last, whether we're designing a business headquarters or for housing associations, institutions or private individuals.

Extensive experience with glass construction

We have experience with everything from professional greenhouses to private garden rooms, from glass pavilions to roof terraces, from winter gardens to common rooms. And our principle of load-bearing steel structures always proves its worth. It contributes to flexibility in both smaller extensions and larger glass buildings.

Depending on needs, the steel can be supplied untreated, galvanised or painted in any colour you like. This allows the glass building to blend into your surroundings, whether it’s an extension of an existing building or built as a freestanding glass building.

At Drivadan, we can back up our expertise with all the recognised certifications. We are certified according to the CE marking DS/EN 1090-2 for the execution of steel structures (including stainless steel). We have extensive experience with all types of glass construction, so we can advise you all the way from the idea phase to the final architectural drawings
